Fiat Motors has a new car on the drawing boards, called the Fiat Mio. What makes this car just a little different from all the other Italian sports cars is that FIAT is giving you the opportunity to design it. From the site:

Fiat Mio is a combination of ideas.
Your ideas combined with our will to realize them will create a new way of thinking the future of motor vehicles.
The idea is simple: You tell Fiat what you would like to see in a car, and they will design the car according to drivers ideas. The ideas are separated into categories, including Propulsion, Design, Safety and even Infotainment. With this project, Fiat is harnessing the power of the crowd to hopefully design the next generation of sports car, and speaking as a drive, that is cooler than cool.
One note about the site: while the link that I have above is pointed tot he English version of the site, many of the comments are not in English. Under each of them are some flag icons that will translate the comment into one of several languages. I wish that it was a one click affair for the entire site, but unfortunately you will need to do it for each comment and idea.
Wow..This is really great. I really like cars and who among of you don’t ? This is really awesome. Yes, you have your car, but this one you can call as you. You can design it the way you want it to be. You can make whatever your preference is. So the bottom line is, your car is you.
