Online video is growing by leaps and bounds, and providers are trying a variety of methods to monetize the new media content. Youtube, owned by Google, has ad overlays on user contributed videos, plus the option of linking your account to adsense. Other sites are employing similar methods of monetization in addition to the standard text and banner ads that have proven so successful to date. But is there a new game in town?
